We solved this pandemic-era space challenge in the Southwood Valley neighborhood by transforming a client’s underutilized garage into a fully livable, purposeful area. Without expanding the home’s footprint, they converted the existing structure into functional square footage, ideal for a guest suite or multi-use space, by adding insulation, daylighting, finished flooring, upgrading the HVAC system, and redesigning the access pathways. The retrofit seamlessly blends thoughtful practicality with aesthetic cohesion, transforming a former storage space into a cohesive living area that enhances both functionality and home value.
