Repairs
Home repairs may not seem as exciting as a newly remodeled kitchen or bathroom, but they are an essential part of home-ownership. Without proper care and maintenance, a home will lose its value and often increase in utility costs. In fact, in terms of both return on investment and general sustainability, repairs and maintenance provide the highest value.
Most delayed repairs will incur greater costs. A home that goes unpainted will end up with rotting trim; rotting trim that is not replaced will lead to rot in the homes structure.
Many people are surprised that we do repairs. While it is true that they are not as glamorous as designing and building new homes or remodeling projects, repairs are a crucial part of home care that we see as part of our mission both in terms of sustainability and client service.
The following project involved removing old, worn siding and replacing it with hardiplank. Siding replacement is a very visible repair, one that certainly improves your home’s value and appearance.
