Kitchens
The kitchen is typically the heart of a home. Removing walls to open up the space so that the kitchen is connected to the other public spaces of the home creates warmth and connection. Here, as part of a complete kitchen remodel, we removed two walls so that the kitchen connects to the living room, dining room and back yard. Remodeling the kitchen tends to transform the whole house.
In this project we built all new oak cabinets with inset doors and drawers. Counter tops are of recycled glass terrazzo and butcher block. The back splash is recycled glass tiles. It is important to use space and materials wisely when thinking about kitchen remodeling.
